Love it! :-D It’s true – books are tricky. You kind of have to know the gift-ee’s tastes, and even then, you have to know them well enough to know what they already have (unless, of course, they love a book/series so much they’d be happy to get extra copies, with different cover art or special-edition binding. Or in case the original copy disintegrates from all that lovin’).
Way true. I’m always happy to get extra copies of The Dark Tower series (although if a LOT of people started giving me them, I guess I’d be less happy, heh heh) because I seem to lose them, loan them out and not get them back, or wear them down.
Oh, true words of wisdom. “Less time shopping means more time drinking.”
I’ve got a half gallon of egg nog and a pint of bourbon. And I need it now, after staring at Photoshop so long that I’m cross-eyed.
I recommend buying something that YOU are really hoping for. If they hate it, there’s a great chance that they’ll regift it to you next year.
I’m the happiest girl in the world!
I’m happy that you’re happy!

Thank you Insatiables, this is just the christmas infograph I was looking for :)
Beautiful chart! The question I always struggle with isn’t, “Do they already have that?” though. It’s, “Did I already give them that?”
I’m printing this & hanging it up to remind me! Thanks for the giggles.

I wonder if next year my bosses will let me hang this in front of the registers at our bookshop…
Please, make this happen. I will love you forever. And I won’t try to get your bookshop shut down for infringing me, I swear. #SOPAjoke
You know, this absolutely worked out for me. The very first time I checked out this blog (a couple of days ago) you made sure I had time to drink.
I am following you AND this blog. To the ends of the earth.
